Reserves take third in France

Blackburn Rovers Reserve side finished third in an eight-team tournament in France.

With no reserve game scheduled, Rovers sent an Under 20 side to Marseille to take part in the international tournament.

The first two games involving Rovers ended goalless against Dinamo Zagreb of Croatia and Lyngby of Denmark, but a 1-0 win over Marseille saw Rovers finish second in their group.

Rovers then beat Mlada Boleslav 3-0 with goals from Josh O'Keefe, Keith Treacy and Dean Winnard to finish third.
