Nelsen: Big Sam to be big hit at Blackburn Rovers

Comments (24)ROVERS skipper Ryan Nelsen believes Sam Allardyce’s “fantastic reputation” speaks for itself as he relishes the prospect of working with his new manager.
The New Zealander has tipped Allardyce to know exactly what to do to turn Rovers’ fortunes around and predicts it will not be long before they are climbing the Premier League table.
He said: “I am very excited about the appointment because his reputation is fantastic.
“I think he will be a big hit at Blackburn Rovers.
“A couple of our current staff, Mark Howard and Damien Roden, have worked with him before and they speak very highly of him.
“I am just looking forward to getting back to work. We need some organisation and he is experienced enough to come in and know what we need.”

And BFS will know enough about who they are already. It will be interesting to see who he favours in defence?
Surely Warnock will now stay at left back? And a Right Back must be first priority for BFS in the transfer window (unless he decides to give Simpson a run)?

It's now time to perform on the pitch and let results do the talking.
Personally, whilst I think both Samba and Nelsen are both good defenders in their own right, the pairing doesn't work. Samba plays much better alongside Oijer.
Anyway, we must all get behind the players and BFS now and make Ewood the fortress it once was.

sional, that the coaching was poor as the players aren't in peak condition, and that he said our facilities are the best he's ever had (including the Toon!!)
Like most BRFC fans i think, i wasn't overly keen on Sam in the summer, but the current situation dictates that Sam is who we go for. Longer term weather he's our man i have doubts, but he's very positive and made a lot of sense (no clichets!!)
He'll get the morale up again, he explained it simply by saying that the current players had finished 7,8,6 in the last 3 seasons, they've performed well consistently during that time, so it's just a case of getting them playing to that level again.

The injuries we had didnt help you its true, but with bad results, we had to blame you.
Your backroom staff were dated and old, I lost hair every saturday, and now I am bold!
Your tactics and methods were puzzling and funny, playing warnock in midfield , when it should have been Dunny!
You tried your hardest but this league is tough, when we are second from bottom, enough was enough!
We've brought in Big sam to help us out the S**t, if he wins against Stoke he'll be an instant hit.
So come on rovers lets stop this rot, lets push up the league and get that euro spot!
