TEAM NEWS: Mokoena makes rare Premier League start

AARON Mokoena makes his first Premier League start since August as Paul Ince is once again forced to ring the changes for this afternoon's home clash with Sunderland.

On top of injuries to Brett Emerton, Vince Grella, David Dunn and Steven Reid, Ryan Nelson and Martin Olsson are late withdrawals due to illness.

Roque Santa Cruz does start though, after recovering from a calf strain, and will partner Jason Roberts in attack.

Danny Simpson starts at right back with Andre Ooijer at left back and Chris Samba and Zurab Khizanishvili in the heart of the defence.
