I am afriad that Hughesy is not going to get to spend City's money. They will be looking for a big name nmanager to get their misfits playing like a team.

It's a shame for Hughesy but it's a lesson learned for him - the grass is not always greener......

He will offload players in jan, he will also do the same in the summer but all managers do this as he will eventually want his own players in and that is when any manager can truely be judged. Yeah, we're in 13th place, but we aren't backed by billionaire arabs (or Thai human rights abusers). Neither does our manager make absurd claims about winning the league.

Well we'll see where you are and where we are in a season or so when the money has been used for more sensible strengthening signings. We made one major signing in a small time frame and you expect that to put city in the top 5. The fact is that as each transfer window opens the wallet will come out for fun.
