Blackburn Rovers deal for Fowler 'not dead'

PAUL Ince has revealed a move for Robbie Fowler is not completely dead in the water, despite the striker suggesting that he would not be signing a deal at Blackburn Rovers.

“I don't know what Robbie's said so we'll have to address that situation in the next couple of weeks,” he said.

“Robbie's a proven goalscorer and there's no rush with him because he's not under contract with anybody.

"We'll give it time.”

Can't believe we're still trying to secure the services of Fowler or Andrews.

Not just cos they're a bag of sh!t but also needless wage bills and must mean someone will be on their way.

Last night clearly showed we got the strength and depth in the centre of midfield and attack so god knows what Ince see's in these two.

Why is everybody against Andrews and Fowler ? Ince seems to know what they are are capable of ,that 's proven to be the case so far and he seems to get the best out of players ,so get off his back and trust the GUVENOR.

Totally agree with Trev Manchester, as probably anyone else who reads this, we've money to spend lets go p!ss all over Hughes' chips and make a cheeky bid for SWP!! But for god's sake leave Andrews playing Sunday League. Everton desperate signing Castillo Rovers reject, just hope he don't come bite us in the a*se later on.

I trust in Ince but its obvious we need a replacement for bentley (well you would if you have a mind of your own and not a Drone) and we arent moving for one, Reid isnt the answer he isnt a winger, Emerton played that part before and is ok but isnt creative enough. SWP is being signed for city and we are buying andrews it just seems odd. And nobody can turn around and say that they would feel comfortable going into the first half of the season without competition for places on the right wing. Also radio lancashire said the Benni was injured and thats why didnt play picked up sort of niggle. To me more likely the way he has been acting is that he decided that this competition ios below him as for some reason he beleives he has a god gievn rite to be in the first 11.

who knows that we arnt after anyone other than andrews? only the guys at rovers!

ive got faith in the guys at rovers, we're avin a fantastic start 2 the season, long may it continue
