PRESTON North End have signed Blackburn Rovers defender Eddie Nolan on an three-month emergency loan deal.
The Republic of Ireland under 21 international links up with the Championship club until January, having previously enjoyed loan spells with Stockport County and Hartlepool United.
A regular for Blackburn Rovers Reserves, Nolan has made just the one senior appearance, coming on as an early substitute in the UEFA Cup match against Nancy in December 2006.
Nolan’s move is initially a three month loan deal but could become a permanent one in the January transfer window should it suit all parties concerned.
