MAGNANIMOUS Mark Hughes had no complaints after his Stoke City side were thrashed 4-1 by his old club Blackburn Rovers in Saturday’s FA Cup fifth-round tie at Ewood Park.
Hughes, a former Rovers player and manager, said: “All in all, it was a very poor performance but I have to give credit to Blackburn, I thought they were excellent.

“They executed their game plan far better than we did and we didn’t deal with their front guys. They had good threat in the air with pace and we didn’t deal with first or second balls.
“And their back four got their heads on things and kept things away from goal and did the fundamentals that we didn’t do.
“I’ve no complaints. Blackburn were the better team on the day and I wish them well in the next round.”
