BLACKBURN Rovers boss Gary Bowyer has made five changes for tonight’s Championship clash at Derby County – but they do not include top-scorers Rudy Gestede and Jordan Rhodes.

Gestede and Rhodes came on in Saturday’s FA Cup 3-1 win at home to Swansea City with the former netting Rovers’ decisive second goal.

But the pair, who have shared 22 goals between them this season, will once again start on the bench with Bowyer preferring to play Josh King up front on his own for the second game running.

Goalkeeper Jason Steele, captain Grant Hanley, Alex Baptiste, Corry Evans and Ben Marshall have been recalled, though.

Simon Eastwood, Shane Duffy, Adam Henley, Lee Williamson and Chris Taylor are the men to miss out.

Derby, who will move level on points with leaders Bournemouth with victory tonight, have made four changes to the side that started their FA Cup victory over Chesterfield on Saturday.

Goalkeeper Lee Grant, Ryan Shotton, Simon Dawkins and Jamie Ward, who scored twice in the Rams’ 3-2 victory at Ewood Park in September, are in.
