CHRIS Taylor would love to stay at Blackburn Rovers.

The midfielder is one of seven senior players out of contract in the summer.

And Taylor, who signed for Rovers on a free from Millwall in July 2012, said: “I’d love to stay, that’s no secret, but to do that you have to play games and play well.

“I’ve got to be looking to play a few more games this year to hopefully extend my stay here because that’s what I’d love to do. I don’t want to go anywhere else.

“It’s a fantastic club which has ambitions to get back to the Premier League and that’s where I want to be as well.”

Paul Robinson, Matt Kilgallon, Josh King, David Dunn, Luke Varney and Lee Williamson also see their current deals run out in the summer.

Youngsters Yann Songo’o John O’Sullivan, Anthony O’Connor and Jordan Slew will also be out of contract.

O’Sullivan is wanted by League One outfit Barnsley after impressing on loan in League Two with Accrington Stanley.
