BLACKBURN Rovers boss Gary Bowyer has confirmed Hull City are one of a number of Premier League clubs interested in his top-scorer Rudy Gestede.

The Lancashire Telegraph reported this morning that Hull had made a tentative enquiry for the 12-goal striker.

And, speaking at his press conference to preview Saturday’s trip to Wigan Athletic, Bowyer said: “Hull City have shown interest, there isn’t any official bids I’m led to believe at this moment in time, but I’m also led to believe other clubs are interested.

“At this moment he’s still a Blackburn Rovers player.”

Gestede, who arrived at Rovers in a £200,000 permanent deal in January last year, trained alongside his Rovers team-mates today.
