STRIKER Leon Best is on his way back to Blackburn Rovers after Derby County confirmed they have cut short his season-long loan.
Rams boss Steve McClaren said: "We would like to wish Leon every success in the future.
“He has been very unfortunate because Chris Martin has been in great form and we have since added Darren Bent to the squad.
“Leon has given his all, worked incredibly hard, been a great professional and not been a single bit of trouble, but given his chances were going to be limited moving forwards we have decided to cancel his loan agreement.”
