BLACKBURN Rovers have named an unchanged team for tonight’s Championship clash at home to last season’s beaten play-off finalists Derby County.
Rovers boss Gary Bowyer, as expected, has stuck faith with the side that started Saturday’s impressive 3-1 home win over Wigan Athletic.
Derby, who came from behind to grab an East Midlands derby draw at Nottingham Forest the following afternoon, have made three changes.
Zak Whitbread replaces Jake Buxton, who is suspended after being sent off in the 1-1 draw with bitter rivals Forest, the more attack-minded Cyrus Christie is preferred to Ryan Shotton at right back, while the fit-again Jamie Ward comes in for Johnny Russell.
Rovers: Robinson, Baptiste, Hanley, Kilgallon, Olsson, Marshall, Cairney, Evans, Conway, Rhodes, Gestede. Subs: Steele, King, Varney, Williamson, Taylor, Duffy, Tunnicliffe.
Derby: Grant, Christie, Whitbread, Keogh, Forsyth, Hughes, Eustace, Bryson, Ward, Martin, Dawkins. Subs: Roos, Naylor, Shotton, Mascarell, Russell, Ibe, Thomas.
