THREE Stonyhurst College pupils are among the highest achieving physics students in the country after winning medals at the British Physics Olympiad.
The gold medal was awarded to Joe Lea, 17, from Hurst Green, while the silver medal went to James Chui, 18, from Hong Kong and the bronze medal went to Padraig Alton, 18, from the Ribble Valley.
For the Olympiad competition, all the pupils had to sit an examination paper at the school.
