A NEW heritage lottery bid has been drawn up to promote a historic town hall which once straddled the Lancashire and Yorkshire boundary. Council chiefs in Calderdale are looking for between £45,000 and £50,000 to create a volunteer army to extol the virtues of the grade I listed Todmorden Town Hall. The Burnley Road landmark is famous for being the dividing line between the red and white rose counties until 1888.
