A PREGNANT woman has been taken to hospital after a collision with a motorbike.
The pedestrian was knocked down by the silver Honda bike at around noon today in Whalley Road, Accrington.
The road was closed at the top of Owen Street to allow investigation work to take place.
It is not yet certain what injuries the woman suffered, but she has been taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital for checks.
It is understood she is around five months pregnant. An police officer is set to visit her in hospital to find out how the collision happened.
The motorcyclist is also being treated for a leg injury.
