ENGLAND rugby union hero Lawrence Dallaglio opened BT’s new call centre in Accrington.
The event at the new centre, which is creating around 325 jobs, saw Lawrence meet teenagers from Accrington Academy, and Irlam and Caddishead School.
Catering students from Accrington and Rossendale College were also on site, serving refreshments to guests.
In total, 150 members of staff have already been taken on at at the site, at The Globe Centre. The centre is now looking to recruit another 325 new employees.
