Budding actors wanted in Oswaldtwistle

CLASSIC children’s novels have inspired workshops at an arts centre.
The Civic Arts Centre Oswaldtwistle is to put on a production of two of Enid Blyton’s The Famous Five stories. The centre is now casting for actors to take part.
Creative director Gayle Knight said: “We are doing two of the stories, so we’re looking for two casts plus there are plenty of other roles for people to take.”
Auditions are open to anyone aged eight to 14 and take place at 12.30pm on Sunday until 2.30pm.
Weekly subs are £3 per week for the first member of a family, £2 for any additional.
The play is being performed on Friday, May 31, and Saturday, June 1, so auditionees must be available on those dates. Call 01254 398319.
