SCOUTS across Hyndburn will be celebrating a year of special achievement at an awards ceremony on Saturday.
Olympic bronze medal winner in the 2012 Olympics, Jonnie Schofield, will be presenting awards to young people for a variety of achievements, including Duke of Edinburgh Awards, and Chief Scouts Awards.
The Oscars-style event will be held at Bowley International Scout camp site and activity centre, in Dean Lane, Great Harwood, from 4pm until 10.30pm.
