DARWEN MP Jake Berry has launched a competition to find the best ‘pub and grub’ in his constituency.
The competition, running until March 22 and supported by ISSL Web Design and Orbital Design and Print, asks local people to vote for their favourite pub, restaurant or café.
Prizes include a tour of Parliament and lunch with Mr Berry, e-marketing sessions and business cards. One lucky punter will also win £50 to spend at their favourite pub, restaurant or café.
Mr Berry said: “Darwen, Turton, Belmont and Tockholes have some wonderful local pubs, restaurants and cafes that form the heart of our local communities.
“It is about time we celebrated the best, which is why I have set up this contest to find the best ‘pub and grub’ in our area.”
