TORY MP Jake Berry has asked residents to identify the worst road is in his Rossendale and Darwen constituency ahead of this week’s National Pothole Day.

He is backing the national initiative, which is being organised by Lancashire-based StreetRepairs.co.uk and is set to take place tomorrow.

Mr Berry recently teamed up with the website to tackle the most pock-marked roads in Rossendale and Darwen, by becoming the first MP in the country to launch his own app – ‘Tell Jake’.

He said:“After launching pothole campaigns and my Tell Jake app, we’ve made real progress in getting some of the worst roads in our area fixed, like Bridleway in Rossendale and the speed bumps on Olive Lane in Darwen.

“I’m urging everyone to help me find the worst roads in our area– you can let me know on my Facebook page, by email, phone or through my app.”
