A CAR failed to stop after hitting a pedestrian in Darwen last week.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened at around 10pm on January 6.
A dark coloured Audi saloon hit a pedestrian on Dove Lane between the Engineers Pub and the Railway Bridge. The Audi failed to stop at the scene.

The 36-year-old man from Darwen suffered facial and shoulder injuries as a result of the collision.
PC Kate Brady of East Road Policing Unit said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this collision or has any information about what happened to contact us.”
