ANOTHER meeting on the traffic chaos on the A666 will take place on Thursday at Darwen Town Hall in Croft Street.

Business bosses and concerned residents were invited to a meeting organised by MP Jake Berry at Kenley Warehousing and Distribution in Hilton Street last month.

It came after new traffic lights, installed as part of the Pennine Reach scheme, were causing traffic delays in the Hollins Grove area.

Blackburn with Darwen Council regeneration chief Brian Bailey and the council leader Councillor Kate Hollern were called on to switch the lights off.

Then, Cllr Hollern said she would arrange a second meeting where all the Pennine Reach plans would be available to view and the work could be explained.

The Friends of Darwen Library is displaying the plans in the library.

The meeting on Thursday starts at 10.30am.
