A COMMUNITY clean-up blitz is being launched in Blackburn this week.
Blackburn with Darwen Community Safety Partnership will be cracking down on anti social behaviour in the Roe Lee area.
It is part of the borough's Beatsweep initiative - an operation involving the police, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Lancashire Fire and Rescue, Probation service and Twin Valley Homes.
As part of the campaign the local neighbourhood policing team will be carrying out high visibility patrols offering crime prevention information.
