CONCERNS are growing for a missing Blackburn man.

Police are searching for 37-year-old Mark Bennett who has not been seen for almost three weeks.

Mr Bennett, of Ashworth Close, Blackburn, was last seen at a friend’s address in Blacksnape Road, Darwen at about 3pm on August 5th.

He is described as five ft 8ins tall, slim, with short light brown hair and a beard and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown hooded jumper, tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

Officers believe he may be in the South Shore area of Blackpool.

Sgt Louis Boyle, of Blackburn Police, said: “We are concerned for Mark’s welfare and I would appeal for anyone who has seen him or knows where he may be to get in touch with us.”

Anyone with any information should call Lancashire Police on 101.
