FREE dog health checks and pooper scoops, as well as a raffle, will be on offer at a Doggie Roadshow being held at St Luke and St Philips Church Hall in Blackburn next Tuesday.
The Cleaner Greener Griffin Group is organising the ‘drop in when you can’ event and Blackburn vet, David Higginson of The Veterinary Health Centre on Daisy Street, will be on hand to offer help and advice to dog owners.
David said: “We welcome all well-behaved dogs and their owners to this important event.
“As well as the freebies I will be micro-chipping dogs for just £10 each, a saving of around £40.
“We are also welcoming people who run Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary who will be there with information about their service.”
David will be at the event from 10am until 12.30pm and invites anyone to drop in when they can.
