TEENAGER Laura Power looked very regal in her purple outfit as she was crowned the Rose Queen at a school fete.
The youngster was accompanied by pupils at St Francis C of E Primary on Cherry Tree Lane, Blackburn, as she officially opened the school’s summer fair.

The fair also saw visitors having fun with a bouncy castle, coconut shy, chocolate fountain and trying their hand at archery.
More than £1,100 was raised, which will go towards school funds.
