THE sunset through the steel work of the half-built Cathedral Quarter hotel and office block gives a hint of the beauty to come when the £33 million development is completed in 12 months time.
The priest in charge of the development, Canon Andrew Hindley, promised the pictures give some idea of how the project will breathe new life into Blackburn centre.

He said: “This sunset gives an idea of what it to come. When the development is complete it will hopefully help revive Blackburn and the town centre, benefitting residents and traders alike. I am looking forward to the completion and the sunrise of regeneration it will bring.
“By next Christmas it will hopefully have breathed new life into the town centre for the decades to come.”
As well as the 60-bed Premier Inn and office block, the development includes the first clergy court at an English Cathedral for 600 years.
