Blackburn residents can freely dispose of domestic waste
THIS weekend, residents within Blackburn will be able to freely dispose of domestic bulky waste.
Fully staffed caged vehicles will be available in Cedar Street, Blackburn, from 10.45am to 11.45am on Saturday.
This free collection service by the borough council across Blackburn with Darwen will run until early January 2015, with more locations to be announced over the coming weeks.
Rubbish may include carpets, broken furniture and general bagged rubbish. Plasterboard and asbestos roofing will not be accepted.
