Blackburn man charged with stabbing his father

A 21-YEAR-OLD man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with stabbing his dad twice.
Mark John Bury, of Mersey Avenue, Darwen, is alleged to have stabbed Vincent Bury in the neck with a knife And in the leg with a screwdriver.
He indicated not guilty pleas to two charges of wounding and was directed to stand trial at Preston Crown Court.
Bury was remanded in custody pending the preparation of committal papers.
