A 22-YEAR-OLD man banned from every rooftop in Hyndburn under the terms of an ASBO appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with seven breaches of the order.

Adam Paul Corbett, of Shuttleworth Street, Rishton, is charged with climbing on roofs in Clayton Street, Great Harwood twice; Burton Street, Rishton twice; St Huberts Road, Great Harwood, and the old town hall in Great Harwood, and breaching curfew conditions.

He also faces three charges of damaging roof slates, damaging the bonnet of a police car, assaulting a police officer, taking a motorbike and a car without consent and using threatening behaviour.

His brother, Matthew Corbett, 24, of Burton Street, Rishton, appeared with him jointly charged with damaging roof slates, a satellite dish and water pipes together worth £2,750 on a house in Great Harwood, using threatening behaviour and taking a car without consent.

Both were ordered to be dealt with at the Crown Court and were remanded in custody to await committal proceedings.
