I appreciate fully PolyGram's wish to market Elton John's "Candle In The Wind" while everyone's memory of Diana, Princess of Wales is at its most vivid.
But surely a timed delay of just one more week to produce enough supplies to meet demand would have avoided the sickening sight of selfish people grabbing what few stocks were available by the armful.
