PEOPLE of Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale have been thanked for their supportive work by the area branch of Diabetes UK and are invited to the organisation's annual general meeting.
The event will mark the 40th year of the charity and will be chaired by consultant physician Dr Malcolm Littley who will give a short talk afterwards.
Other members of the Diabetes Specialist Team from the health Care Trust will attend to receive cheques collected by the public.
The meeting is on Thursday, January 18 at Pendleside Hospice, Colne Road, Reedley, at 7.30pm.
