HELPERS at a charity shop are appealing for donations of unwanted Christmas gifts.
The Prescot branch of the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) shop in Eccleston Street is holding its first-ever January sale and is seeking unwanted presents or other quality items of clothing, bric-a-brac, books, toys and jewellery.
More volunteers are also needed and anyone interested is welcome to call in for details.
