FIREFIGHTERS across the county were called to more than 500 incidents on bonfire night making it the busiest night of the year.
But crews throughout Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley said November 5 had passed off with no major incidents.
In Blackburn, one man was arrested after complaints that he had thrown fireworks through the letterbox of a woman's house in the Fishmoor area.
Inspector Stuart Bruce said: "There was a lot of telephone calls all night, with people complaining about general firework nuisances across the division.
"But that is the same experience year on year and there was nothing new other than the man arrested in the Fishmoor area.
"That incident caused some minor damage and he will be interviewed today."
A spokesman for Lancashire Ambulance said: "It was quite quiet on the bonfire and firework front this year thankfully.
"There was the odd firework problem here and there but nothing that stood out."
