LITTLE rays of sunshine from a Radcliffe playgroup enjoyed a special party as a thank-you for helping to get the group off the ground.
Sunshine playgroup, based at Radcliffe (St. Mary's) Parish Church Hall, was started in January by local childminders Kath Hamer and Yvonne Thomasson.
And the party was Kath and Yvonnes chance to say thanks to the babies, toddlers, parents and the Leyland Eagles Motorcycle Club for its donation of a ball pool and the Early Learning Centre for its donation of gifts. The group meets on Wednesdays between 9.30am and 11.30am at the church hall, Church Green, near to Close Park.
