A 26-year-old man accused of a serious attack has appeared at Liverpool Crown Court.
Lee Croston, of Warwick Road, Atherton, pleaded not guilty on Monday to wounding John Liptrot with intent on September 2 last year.
Croston was remanded on bail to await his trial which begins on May 23.
