YOUNGSTERS got stuck into glueing and cutting to help develop their creative skills.
Children from Chapelfield CP in Radcliffe, along with others from Holy Trinity Primary and St John with St Mark Primary in Bury, Whitefield Community Primary, and the Re:d Centre in Bury, took part in workshops with the community arts group Action Factory, based in Blackburn.
The scheme has been paid for by Bury Childrens Fund to give youngsters the chance to achieve, help them express their opinions and views, and build confidence.
Working alongside artists from the Action Factory, the young people also got the chance to discuss their creations as they worked.
Pupils at the Clough Street school enjoyed making self-portraits using paper, fabric and buttons. Holy Trinity pupils also produced visual art work, while St John and St Mark and Whitefield primary schools took on music and drama.
The artwork produced, in the various mediums, will be exhibited at Bury Town Hall on April 7 at 10am.
