Fire crews took three hours bring wildfires under control at Lee Mill Quarry in Bacup.
Emergency teams were called just after 6pm on Tuesday and with one fire engine and the two wildfire units from Bacup and Rawtenstall in attendance.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “Firefighters used the Haggulund vehicle and hand tools to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for three hours.”
