A man has been arrested after reports of a male trying numerous car doors in Blackburn.
Following a search of the Highercroft and Fishmoor areas in the early hours of this morning (April 17), police located and arrested the man on suspicion of interfering with a motor vehicle and theft from motor vehicles.
Police found numerous items in his possession which they suspected did not belong to him, including a mobile phone, money, tools, jewellery, and accessories.
A police spokesperson said: “Please may we ask that anyone in this area of Blackburn checks their vehicles this morning to see if they have any items missing they believe to be stolen.
“If your vehicle has been targeted as a result of this incident, please call 101, quoting log LC-20240417-0135.”
