Motorists have been urged to find alternative routes.
A police spokesperson said: “Please be aware that Sabden Rd, Burnley is currently impassible due to ice on the road.
“Please find an alternative route where possible.”
It’s been a cold week in Lancashire with wintry conditions battering the county.
Snow fell on Tuesday leading to school closures and travel chaos.
The icy roads have been causing havoc for businesses and motorists. In Blackburn, a car even flipped onto its roof after travelling down an icy road.
The cold weather is set to end at the weekend but will be replaced by stormy conditions.
