A man has been bailed and is expected to attend court in October over alleged burglary and theft offences.

Jack Wright, 21, was arrested, interviewed and charged by police in Hyndburn following an investigation into alleged burglary and theft incidents.

The alleged offences took place in Clayton-le-Moors, with the 21-year-old, of no fixed abode being charged with both crimes. 

He is set to appear before magistrates in October. 

A spokesperson for the police said: "This week officers from the Hyndburn neighbourhood policing team have arrested a male on suspicion of burglary and a separate incident of theft in Clayton-le-Moors.

"Jack Wright, 21, of no fixed abode, was interviewed and charged with burglary and theft where he was later bailed to an address outside of Hyndburn.

"He will appear before Blackburn Magistrates' Court in October."
