A road in Clayton-Le-Moors is closed and traffic in the area is building after a crash.
Whalley Road, at the junction with Burnley Road, is closed while police deal with the incident.
Officers day no one has been injured and they will update you once the road has reopened.
AA Traffic News say there is queuing traffic both ways from the Hare and Hounds Pub to Church Lane.
A police spokesperson said: “We’re currently at the scene of a road closure on Whalley Road, at the junction with Burnley Road, Clayton Le Moors.
“The road is closed due to a road traffic collision. We’ll provide an update once cleared and thank you in advance for your patience.”
A spokesperson for AA Traffic News said: “Road closed and queueing traffic due to crash on A680 Whalley Road both ways from the Hare and Hounds Pub to B6231 Church Lane.”
