A WOMAN died after taking a drug cocktail of amphetamine, ecstasy and cannabis.
An inquest heard that Sandra Carter was found foaming at the mouth with her eyes rolling at her home in Manor Street, Accrington.
Mrs Carter, 44, suffered a brain injury as a result of lack of oxygon during a period when she was collapsed.
Housemate Leanne Walmsley said she found Mrs Carter on the floor.
"Her eyes were rolling in the back of her head and she was foaming at the mouth," said Miss Walmsley.
Dr Mohammed Aslam, who carried out a post-mortem examination, said because Mrs Carter was in hospital for eight days before she died post-mortem blood samples were of no value.
He had seen the results of a pre-mortem urine sample taken when she was admitted to hospital and this confirmed the presence of amphetamine, ecstasy and cannabis. He said Mrs Carter also sufferred from Addison's disease which affected the immune system.
Dr Aslam gave the cause of death as septicemia and bronchopneumonia with multiple drug toxicity contributing.
Coroner Michael Singleton recorded a commentary verdict .
