ED Joyce admitted he needed a little good fortune along the way to his maiden one-day international ton which helped England set Australia a testing target of 292 for seven in Sydney today.
Joyce (above), chose a handy time to do so in a fixture the tourists must win to stand any chance of reaching the final of the Commonwealth Bank Series against the hosts.
He said: "I had a bit of luck and got dropped on nine or 10."
The Aussies were 119 for 4 with 28 overs remaining.
