PARIS: In France, which has Europe's highest number of Aids cases, the

seven nationwide television channels agreed yesterday to broadcast a

joint programme next month to raise funds to help fight Aids. The

three-hour ''All Against Aids'' broadcast will go out at peak viewing

time on April 7 with advice by scientists and entertainers to counter

prejudice, fear, and ignorance about the disease. ''In the tiniest,

remotest French village, no-one will any longer be able to say 'I did

not know','' entertainer Line Renaud told a news conference.
