TWO of Glasgow's finest Victorian buildings will be repaired with
grants awarded by Scottish Secretary Ian Lang, Historic Scotland said
yesterday. It said #490,000 is to be awarded to the derelict terraced
house at 4 Great Western Terrace, where the interior is acknowledged as
one of the most important in Glasgow, and #195,000 to the four-storey
building at 162-170 Gorbals Street, the last surviving tenement in the
Gorbals.
