Caution urged after five crashes on one of East Lancashire's most notorious roads... In one morning
MOTORISTS have been urged to drive carefully after five vehicles crashed on Haslingden's notorious Grane Road this morning.
Police said poor weather conditions had caused the road surface to become slippery, with five vehicles leaving the road.
Nobody was seriously hurt, a spokesman said.
The road has seen several fatal accidents in recent years, and has previously been the focus of a campaign calling for improved safety measures to be introduced.
