POLICE are appealing for help to trace a man missing from home.

Peter King, 34, was seen by staff at Jay’s Bed and Breakfast on Bolton Road in Blackburn at about 10am on January 24.

It is believed he may have travelled towards Glasgow where he has family.

He is described as white, five ft 9ins tall, with black curly hair and a Scottish accent. He was last seen wearing a grey jumper and blue jeans.

PC Liam Prendergast, of Blackburn Police, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned about Peter as we understand that he was travelling to Scotland to see family but has not made contact with them.

“I would appeal for anyone who has any information about where he might be or who has seen him to get in touch with us. I would also appeal for Peter himself, if he sees this appeal, to contact us.”
