SANTA needs an elf at The Mall Blackburn.
Would-be helpers for Father Christmas have until the end of today to apply for the very special job.
Duties will include spreading festive cheer, handing out sweeties, dishing out tissues, and helping customers with their shopping.

The temporary position will include working weekends and during late night shopping on Thursdays throughout December.
The Mall general manager Loraine Jones said: “We wanted to do something extra special to bring even more festive cheer to shoppers our shoppers.
“Our Santa’s Little Helper will need to be confident, outgoing, good with children and happy to wear a very special elf uniform at work!
“Their mission is to spread Christmas cheer, whether that be helping people to their cars, giving directions to shoppers, handing tissues to people with winter sniffles and welcoming families into our fantastic Grotto.
“If you are reliable, fun loving and full of festive cheer we want to hear from you!”

The salary is in line with the national minimum wage and the job is for over-18s only.
