John Chapman with his April scene – the village of Waddington
PAINTINGS of some of the area’s most iconic views are contained in a 2015 calendar and Christmas cards for East Lancashire Hospice.
Renowned painter John Chapman has once again donated his talents to depict scenes from past and present.
Among the pictures are the Bastwell, Blackburn, in the snow, Clitheroe, Slaidburn steam rally in the Ribble Valley and a view of the River Ribble at Grindleton.
Rishton reservoirs, Blackburn Railway Station in the age of steam, Waddington in the morning and Corporation Park gates are also included.
The calendar, priced £5, and cards are available from the hospice and all its shops or by calling 01254 733412.
